The past progressive
A: we form the past progressive with the past tense of the verb tobe (was/were) and theing form (presente participle) of the verb (ej. Alex was eating)
B: we use the present progressive to describe a scene at a momentin the past (ag. Iwas waiting for. A bus when I went I met Juan at 7:30 , he was watching t.v) to describe what was happening in a picture in the past; or to explan why you didn’t do something (ej. Did you see the game lastining? No didn’t I was doing my homework (at that time)
Affirm: iwas watching t.v
Inter: was t waching t.v?
Negat: I was not waching t.v wasn´t

were: we, they
Could
Form:
Sujt + could + verb in simple forma + complement
Ejem: when I was young
I could run very fast
Negative: (could +not= couldn´t)
Interrogative: coul you run very fast?
I can play the paino= yo puedo tocar el piano
For the past( yesterday, week, etc)
We use could/ couldn´t
Ejemplo:
I was tired last night but
I couldn´t sleep

Negative: there isn’t a gestation this block?
Yes there is /no there isn´t
There is = singular
There are= plural
Comparatives
Uso: usamos la forma comparative para comparar 2 personas, cosas, etc
Usamos than´s para comparar
Ejem: she is taller tan thim
Usamos as+ adjetives as para decir de 2 personas , cosas etc.
Ejem: Tom is as tall as Peter (Tom esta mas alto como Peter
